For Homeowners or Small Businesses who are looking for an outdoor PC-Based Security Camera System to monitor the outside of their building, this CD-205-ES 2-Camera Outdoor Hi-Res IR Infrared Color Security Camera Alnet PC-Based System is a great choice. The included DVR card installs into your Windows XP or Windows Vista PC, to allow you to view and record from your cameras onto your PC's hard drive. System includes motion detection and continuous recording capabilities in high resolution (720x480 per camera).
The Alnet DVR Software allows you to view your cameras over the internet using a PC, Laptop, Windows Mobile PDA Phone or Windows Mobile Smartphone, allowing you to watch your cameras from anywhere over the internet, even with a Dynamic IP address.
The included 2 x CD-5260 Hi-Res Outdoor Infrared IR CCTV Cameras provide good quality color video and are sealed against the weather for outdoor installations. Infrared IR Night Vision allows you to view your home or business even in no-light conditions up to 65 feet away. Package includes 2 x 25' or 50' Power/Video cables that will carry the power to the location of the camera from the included power adapters, so that you only have to run a single cable out to each camera.

I purchased this camera setup a few months back. It was easy to setup and it works great with my TREO 700w PDA. I can view in real-time the 2 cameras I have setup thru my PDA or my remote comuter at home. I also like the motion camera snap shots that can be sent via email or text message. The kit i bought came with 2 bad shorted out cables, that were replaced by Ez-Toys within 2 days. Everything is working great including the video recording and playback. I would suggest spending a few extra bucks on a wider angle - better resolution camera. 2 PTZ cameras are going to be on order in a few weeks. ISSUES - The auto update feature doesn't work and has an error everytime you reboot the pc. It is a documented issue and I can't wait for this to be fixed - very annoying.
-Note from Ez-Toyz- The problem with the Auto-Updates was a problem with several of the versions of the Alnet Software and has been resolved with the newer Alnet Cards.
