Most Standalone DVRs and other PC-Based DVR Cards require a Static IP address (which costs more every month from your Internet Service Provider), but the Alnet system has built in Dynamic IP support, so that it will work with any broadband Cable or DSL internet connection, even with a Dynamic IP address.

The Alnet PC-Based DVR Software will even allow you to remotely view multiple locations at once, allowing you to view cameras from multiple DVR servers or franchises simultaneously (up to 64 cameras can be viewed at once from up to 16 DVR Servers with Alnet DVR Cards).
