High Definition 8.0 MegaPixel Surround Video® IP cameras

   When a single IP Camera is desired to cover huge expanses of warehouse, parking lot, retail store or any other environment, these Arecont Vision 8.0 MegaPixel Panoramic IP security cameras are a great choice.  These cameras are popular due to their coverage of 180° or 360° areas with a single camera.

   The Surround Video® panoramic IP security cameras provide coverage with 4 x 2.0 MegaPixel image sensors aligned to provide either 180° or 360° views. These unique high definition cameras provide great coverage without installing multiple cameras.

   Panoramic Arecont Vision IP cameras are available in 180° (AV818x) and 360° (AV836x) models. Each design is also available in MJPEG (AV8xx0) and H.264 (AV8xx5) versions. The MJPEG version of these cameras was the original model, and therefore is less expensive, while the H.264 versions have capabilities to steam in MJPEG and H.264 codecs. The H.264 video codec can reduce network traffic and reduce file sizes for decreased storage requirements for recording.

   By default, the AV8180, AV8185, AV8360 and AV8365 cameras come with ceiling mounts, but optional recessed dome, indoor wall mount, outdoor wall mount, indoor ceiling mount or outdoor ceiling mount brackets are available for each of these camera models.
