While standalone DVRs are more basic than our professional PC-based systems above, our complete line of H.264 standalone DVRs will work with iPhones, iTouch as well as any other PDA phone with an internet browser. These H.264 standalone DVRs will offer a very basic remote viewing of up to 4 cameras at a time. This browser-based viewing allows you to login to your standalone DVR, and will then provide you with a JPG snapshot of 1 or 4 cameras at a time (up to 320x240 max. resolution) and can refresh the snapshot up to 1 time per second (depending on internet connection speed). The page will continue to automatically refresh until it is stopped. This remote viewing allows you to monitor what is happening on your Standalone DVR remotely over the internet right from your iPhone.
